Latin Restaurant Weeks takes over Houston July 11–25! This two-week celebration was founded in 2019 to uplift aspiring and established Latino culinary pros in cities like Chicago, Miami, New York and Atlanta. But, in a food city like Houston? You better believe the lineup brings the heat.

Latin Restaurant Weeks is powered by a minority-, woman-, and veteran-owned team, and its nonprofit arm, Feed the Soul, supports restaurant owners from historically underserved communities. So, every time you bite into a plantain taco or clink glasses over a mezcal cocktail, you’re also helping small businesses thrive. Win-win, right?

This year’s roster is packed with flavor: there are chef-driven concepts like The Lymbar and food trucks like Gaspachos. Just opened Botonica, and EaDo’s OSO Coffee Co. are even joining the celebration!

Whether you're craving Cuban, Colombian, Mexican, or a little fusion fun, Latin Restaurant Weeks is your passport to it all—without ever leaving the city.

A $16 lunch includes an entrée—like the 44 Farms Muffaletta Dog or Tempura Fish Taco—paired with a choice of sides such as vermicelli rice or brussels sprouts. The $38 dinner delivers big flavor with the Parrillada Mixta, a generous spread of grilled chicken, lamb chops, wagyu skirt steak, and more. A DACA recipient who cut her teeth at celebrated local restaurants like State of Grace and Xochi, Elizondo launched Cochinita & Co. in 2016 as a food truck before growing it into a full-fledged restaurant that now earns critical acclaim for its soulful, from-scratch cooking.

For Latin Restaurant Weeks, Cochinita & Co. offers a generous La Familia Dinner ($48), perfect for a group of four to six.
