Jason has over 25 years dedicated to the hospitality and tourism industry. During his career, he has held many leadership positions including Director, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors roles in Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Destination Management with a variety of companies in numerous Houston sub-markets. It is important to Jason that he is an active contributor to the community. This goal has lead him to serve as President of the Greater Houston Area Chapter of HSMAI, on the Board of Directors for the MPI Houston Area Chapter in the roles of Vice President of Administration, President-Elect, President, and Immediate Past President/Chairman of the Past President’s Council, and on the MPI Chapter Advisory Council.

Along the way, Jason has received many sales and leadership-related awards, including the Visionary Award from the MPI Houston Area Chapter, and the Sales, Marketing, Catering, and Convention Services Award for the city of Houston from the Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Houston.

In his current role with Visit Houston, Jason supports the sales team in its mission to improve the Greater Houston Economy by facilitating the booking of hotel room nights generated from trade shows, conventions, meetings, and major sporting events
