Cinco De Mayo In Houston

‘ritas, fajitas, and more!

Cinco de Mayo celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France in the first Battle of Puebla during the Franco-American War. It’s a pretty low-key date in Mexico, but here in the U.S., it’s a day to celebrate Mexican culture with drinks, food, and parties. Here are five places in which you can celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Houston.

1600 Westheimer (77006)

Party at Hugo's with a special evening  on Friday, May 5th from 6 - 9:30 p.m. Leave Houston for the night and celebrate the brilliance of Jalisco, the home of Tequila. Take a journey to experience the food, flavors, music and culture of Mexico’s iconic Tequila region featuring the legendary brands El Tesoro, Tres Generaciones and Sauza Hornitos.

Hugo's is hosting a special walk-around event with multiple food and cocktail stations throughout the restaurant, a DJ for the entire evening, live mariachis from 6-7 and Aztec dancers from 8-8:30pm. The passed bites and food stations will highlight a diverse selection of our most popular items over the years as well as vegetarian options. You don't want to miss this Cinco de Mayo party!
