Cinco de Mayo in Houston
Parades, Parties & More
Cinco de Mayo may be a relatively minor holiday in Mexico, but in the United States—particularly in Houston where a vibrant Mexican American community thrives—it serves as a date to celebrate all things Mexican culture and heritage. Long gone are the days of dressing in culturally appropriative ponchos and sombreros, but there are still several ways to celebrate the holiday and show some love to the Mexican culture and community right here in H-Town!
