It is officially the most anticipated time of the year in Houston—the release of the 2026 RODEOHOUSTON® entertainment lineup! From March 2-22, NRG Stadium will transform as legendary icons and the hottest rising stars take over the star-shaped stage. This year’s roster is a powerhouse of talent; collectively, the 2026 lineup boasts 28 GRAMMY® Awards, 70 CMA Awards, and 9 Latin GRAMMY®s.
For some performers, 2026 is a Texas homecoming. Kelly Clarkson brings her three GRAMMYs back to her home state, while University of Houston alumna Lizzo makes her highly anticipated Rodeo debut as part of Black Heritage Day. Fulshear native and Baylor grad Forrest Frank also joins the debut club, bringing his Christian music to NRG for the first time.

The global star power this year is unmatched. We’re welcoming Pepe Aguilar, who has won four Grammy Awards, five Latin Grammy Awards, and holds a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Joining him in the global spotlight is J Balvin, with over 35 million records sold worldwide.
The lineup is also packed with Rodeo royalty. Chris Stapleton and Tim McGraw (returning for his 11th performance) are set to headline, not to be outdone by Luke Bryan, who is gearing up for his 13th appearance! Fans of the classics will also be thrilled to see Rascal Flatts back in the saddle; with 17 No. 1 hits, this marks their eighth trip to the star stage.
While it might be Megan Moroney’s "first rodeo," she is arriving as one of the most decorated new artists in recent memory. In just the last two years, she has been named Variety’s 2025 Storyteller of the Year, Billboard’s 2025 Rulebreaker, and scooped up "New Artist of the Year" honors at both the CMA and ACM Awards.
Other first-timers had a unique path to Houston. Russell Dickerson actually previewed the lineup during the Rodeo’s first-ever Times Square takeover in NYC. Then there’s Shaboozey, who is returning to NRG after his viral performance with Beyoncé on Christmas Day 2024. We also see the return of Lainey Wilson, who captured Houston’s heart during her 2024 debut, and the highly anticipated reunion of the band Creed.
Closing out the festivities is a man who has become synonymous with the Rodeo: Cody Johnson. Having starred in the Rodeo’s "Welcome to the Show" song — the brand’s first-ever anthem that debuted earlier this year. There is no rodeo scheduled before the Cody Johnson concert, however, all activities on the grounds, including shopping and dining areas, carnival, livestock and horse show competitions and other exhibits and attractions at NRG Park, will be open to the public on Sunday, March 22. Individual tickets for Cody Johnson’s concert-only performance on March 22, 2026 are on sale now.
