Baseball fans are gearing up for all of the excitement of each game in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, happening March 5 to 17, 2026, in the US, Japan, and Puerto Rico. Following 2023, 20 teams will compete in four groups of five teams each in the sixth installment of the World Baseball Classic, in which Daikin Park will host the event for the first time in history. Daikin Park, located in the heart of downtown Houston, is the home ballpark of the Houston Astros and sees millions of fans each year.
The first round at Daikin Park takes place from March 6 to 11, 2026, and will feature the matchups for Pool B teams, including Brazil, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico, and the US, the 2023 runner-up and 2017 champion.

Other group stages will be played in Miami, San Juan (Puerto Rico), and Tokyo (Japan).
Daikin Park will also host the quarterfinals, including the teams that advance from Groups A and B, from March 13-14.
Single-game tickets go on sale to the general public on January 15, 2026.
