Amidst the holiday shopping madness, Simon Property Group debuted its new wing at Houston’s Galleria mall this week. The luxury expanse, Galleria VI, consists of approximately 110,000 square feet and will bring 35 new retailers and restaurants to the center by the end of 2017.

Shoppers visiting the area can expect a glimpse at some of the headlining tenants that will soon settle into the extension, including Cole Haan, St. John and Kate Spade, which will relocate to the new wing from smaller spaces in The Galleria. There will also be new faces to the Houston market like Ted Baker, Massimo Dutti and Robin’s Jean. Restaurants slated for the extension include the highly-anticipated Nobu and Fig & Olive. Two other restaurants are yet-to-be announced.

The renovated area sits atop the former home of Saks Fifth Avenue, which relocated to a new standalone space at the end of Galleria VI. Now, shoppers will find a re-imagined corridor with soaring ceilings, skylights, new flooring and fresh, contemporary lighting.
