Cambria Hotel in Downtown Houston is a beautiful part of Choice Hotels’ upscale Cambria Hotels & Suites collection that offers contemporary style and convenience for the modern traveler.

Guests enter on the ground level and access the lobby from either the preserved elevator cabs which feature original, ornate Mayan designs on the doors, or the modern staircase. The open floor plan of the second floor offers views of the front desk, the hotel market, the bar and The Rigrestaurant, which serves creative, locally-sourced bistro fare. The hotel features 226 rooms as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, ballroom and multi-function meeting spaces situated on the 20th floor with unparalleled downtown views. Cambria Hotel is known for offering a curated travel experience in sophisticated, boutique accommodations with tech-minded amenities. Each room is equipped with a bluetooth-enabled bathroom mirror that allows guests to stream their own content, along with full length mirrors and smart TVs.

One of the goals during the build was to maintain the integrity and the history of the Great Southwest Building, known for housing the Petroleum Club of Houston, while breathing new life and purpose into it through the hotel.
