Houstonians dining out in the Heights neighborhood are in for a very Goode experience! The Goode Company family of restaurants, full of Houston staples, opened their second Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina in the Heights, serving delicious Tex-Mex cuisine. Anyone familiar with their other locations will appreciate the authentic stylistic touches featuring reclaimed wood, artisan made fixtures and exposed, white brick walls. And at its beating heart, Goode Company showcases an open kitchen, preparing fantastic latin fare over rustic wood-fired grills.
The traditional cocktail menu features agave-based cocktails like the Damn Goode Margarita, sangrias, micheladas, palomas and flights of tequila and mezcal. The menu includes family platters serving four to six people and South Texas ranch-inspired dishes like the farm-raised Texas quail, seafood campechana, bacon-wrapped Gulf Coast shrimp, mesquite-grilled snapper, enchiladas, tacos al carbon, fajitas and farm-raised Texas quail. The family's sought-after Brazos Bottom Pecan Pie is a must for desert!
