Best known for its impeccable stock of items for the home, Kuhl-Linscomb also draws a loyal clientele with its masterful mix of sought-after items. With a dramatic expansion in fall 2014, the store now offers more than 80,000 square feet of display area, positioning it as the largest privately owned design and lifestyle store in Houston.
Pam Kuhl-Linscomb, who owns the store with her husband Dan, has a design and fashion background so it's no wonder she knows how to cater to her customers. And cater they do, offering a smorgasbord of gift items, books, apothecary products, personal grooming and eclectic stationary -- and that's just the first building!
There are five separate showroom buildings offering everything from the elegant to the kitsch, African to Parisian, and expensive to economic. One building focuses on modern and unique home furnishings, from lamps and chandeliers to playful chairs and dining room sets. Across the street, patrons will discover fine bedding, linens and other textiles. Nearby, a massive kitchen showroom offers an array of devices, kitchenware, utensils, china and glassware.
Kuhl-Linscomb is arguably Houston's most celebrated single-store shopping experience.
