RODEO BOWL PRESENTED BY KROGER - Saturday, January 1
Start Bowl Week off right with a fun rodeo-themed night with a live DJ, petting zoo, face painting and watch student athletes from the K-State and LSU Football teams compete in rodeo-themed events! NRG Arena doors open at 4:45 PM and Rodeo Bowl opens at 5:00 PM. Continue the fun and listen to some Texas country music from Kyle Park featuring Jon Stork on the Goode Company Stage!
Ticket information: $14.99 for General Admission and (Free for kids under 12). Concert is free with your ticket to Rodeo Bowl. Parking onsite is available at the Blue Lot outside of NRG Arena for $20.
KARBACH KICKOFF CONCERT - Monday, January 3
The Karbach Kickoff Concert is the official kickoff event to Bowl Week! Head to The Rustic in Downtown Houston for tasty food, fun giveaways, merchandise and live music from Texas Country star Mike Ryan. Doors open at 8:00 PM and the concert starts at 9:00 PM.
Ticket information: Free, first come first serve seating at The Rustic Houston-Downtown. Link to RSVP. Parking is limited and ride sharing is recommended.
KARBACH LOVE STREET TEXFEST - Tuesday, January 4
Arrive early for the official pregame party for the TaxAct Texas Bowl! Fans can enjoy food, drinks, giveaways and ‘Texas-sized’ entertainment at this free Love Street TexFest before the big game.
Ticket information: FREE with your TaxAct Texas Bowl ticket. Located on the south side of the stadium between the Amegy Bank Gate and Ford Gate.
PREGAME SPIRIT WALK - Tuesday, January 4
Ready to cheer on your team? Line up at the Spirit Walk and cheer on your team as they enter NRG Stadium! Share this great pregame tradition with fellow fans and give your team that homefield advantage feeling.

TAILGATING - Tuesday, January 4
Tailgate the Texas way! Houston welcomes fans to show their big school spirit for a chance to win H-E-B’s Tailgater of The Game. Judges will be roaming the NRG Stadium parking lots for the best tailgate setup that include Team Spirit, Food (H-E-B Items!), Originality and Hospitality. The winning tailgate will win an H-E-B gift card and will be recognized during the big game!
