It’s been nearly five months since California-based Trader Joe’s announced plans to open its grocer concept in The Woodlands Crossing Shopping Center. In the time since, locals speculated whether the supplier would expand in Houston and, fortunately, the company is ready to put the rumors to rest.

By year’s end, Trader Joe’s will add two additional outposts in the Houston market—one in Memorial and another in Montrose.

Located at 1440 S. Voss, the Memorial store will span 14,000 square feet, slightly larger than The Woodlands location, while the Montrose spot will be awarded the largest footprint of 14,500 square feet. It will occupy the former West Alabama Theater Space.

Customers can expect to find a well-edited array of domestic and imported goods, including artisan breads, juices, obscure frozen food entrees, deli items, beer and wine.
