Pride Month Flag Raising Ceremony

The Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce invites the community to join them at North Plaza of Shell Energy Stadium (2200 Texas Ave.) with the Houston Dash for a special Pride Month ceremony! The Chamber will proudly kick off Pride Month with a special Pride Flag Raising Ceremony. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 8:30 AM with the program beginning at 9:00 AM. Ceremony speakers will include Council Member Alejandra Salinas (she/her), Houston City Council, At Large-4; Jessica O’Neill (she/her), President of Business Operations for the Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC); and Tammi Wallace (she/her), Co-Founder, President, & CEO, Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce.
Pride Month at The Original Ninfa’s

Celebrate Pride with a refreshing cocktail at one of Houston’s most iconic Tex-Mex restaurants! The Original Ninfa's invites all to celebrate Pride Month at their Navigation Blvd. and Uptown locations throughout the month of June. Customers are invited to celebrate with the Roasted Pineapple Mojito (Aged Rum, Lime Juice, Agave, Mint, Topo Chico) for $14. Stop in for fajitas, good times, and a cocktail that screams Pride joy!

Axelrad is celebrating Pride and giving back all month-long! The Midtown bar and beer garden will partner with local nonprofit Grace Place as the beneficiary of their “Rad Drink” throughout June where $1 from each drink sold is donated to the organization. Grace Place's mission is to provide a safe, welcoming environment for vulnerable youth experiencing homelessness of all sexualities and genders, providing nourishment, healthy relationships, and hope for the future. Head to the beer garden and bar to enjoy a refreshing cocktail and give back to an incredible cause this June!

Pride Month just got a whole lot sweeter! Throughout June, Dandelion Cafe will celebrate Pride Month with two colorful specialty offerings available at its Bellaire and Heights locations. Guests can enjoy a festive Rainbow Loaf, a bright lemon loaf topped with buttercream frosting, alongside a Rainbow Latte made with the café’s signature bourbon caramel oat milk latte and finished with rainbow sprinkles. In support of the LGBTQ+ community, 10% of proceeds from both items will benefit Out for Education, a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to providing scholarships and educational support for LGBTQ+ youth.

Axelrad, the Midtown bar and beer garden, is ringing in Pride Month with an epic drag party! The local institution is kicking off Pride Month with a Drag Show hosted by Queen Persephone, Rene B*tchface, and Teresa Larue on June 2. Join the party at the Main Stage starting at 8pm. Join HTX Clay as they celebrate Pride Month with an extra special hand-building class & drag show! Teachers will guide you in creating your own handbuilt pot and more as Ms. Mykie performs, engages with the crowd, and maybe even reads your pieces for filth — all in good fun! All experience levels are welcome in this beginner-friendly class and all clay, tools, and materials will be provided. Each participant can expect to make 1-2 pieces.
