The first Texas venture for Richard Sandoval Restaurants is a chic bourbon concept dubbed Bayou & Bottle, set in the lobby of Four Seasons Houston. Created by celebrity chef and restaurateur Richard Sandoval, the lively bar serves more than 100 varieties of bourbons and whiskeys, along with a well-edited menu of New American fare.
Inside, the space is masculine and inviting with a mix of wood accents, soft lighting and mod furniture, save for the pair of classic leather chesterfields that anchor the venue. Settle in at the bar, where a mix of old school and signature cocktails are on offer, and select from a menu of shareable appetizers, small plates and light bites. Expect a range of options from the ribeye chicharron and guacamole appetizer to roasted oysters and the Dayboat Scallops entrée with brown butter, sunchoke and pear. While you’re there, try your hand at the first TopGolf simulation experience, located in the back of Bayou & Bottle.
The concept is open daily for lunch, dinner and late-night, as well as grab & go service starting at 6 a.m.
