From pond to plate, Boil House brings authentic Louisiana crawfish to the Bayou City, tucked away in heart of the historic Heights neighborhood . The menu is to the point, with a focus on crawfish and the usual sides of corn and potatoes. Along with savory crawfish by the pound, you’ll find fresh Boudin empanadas, sausage and sweet treats like king cakes and jalapeno pecan pies. The no frills décor of this small crawfish eatery has little more than picnic tables, friendly staff and buckets of mudbugs ready to eat. Want your mudbugs to go? Boil House offers grab-and-go service and catering for all events, big or small.
The menu will expand with additional offerings once crawfish season nears its end, though specifics have not yet been determined. Boil House is open Wednesday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 12 to 9 p.m.
