Dish Society’s fifth Houston-area location is in the Heights and presents fresh and local plates by quick and convenient counter service.
Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on weekends, Dish Society has a variety of colorful dishes for an array of tastebuds. Morning grub includes “brisket ‘n eggs,” shrimp and grits made with fresh gouda cheese, and Nutella French toast. Freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices are available daily. Lunch favorites are the deconstructed chicken pot pie and the crispy chicken kale caesar salad. Among an array of delicious salads and healthful main dishes, Dish Society’s supper menu features 44 Farms Chimichurri Steak Tacos, a sweet and savory brisket stuffed sweet potato, and their Texas pecan pesto pasta.
This cozy, modern and simplistic styled spot has plenty of big and small metal tables inside and picnic tables on their dog friendly patio. Alternatively, the bar seating is perfect for a duo looking to chat over a carafe of refreshing Scarlet Red Sangria or Bromosa, a combo of Karbach Weisse Versa, orange and lemon juices.
