Fans of The Heights’ and Midtown’s Tacos A Go Go can get their fajita fix on the go, now that West U’s Fajitas A Go Go is officially open. Sharon Haynes, the brains behind the long-loved Tacos A Go Go, teamed up with Houston-native and Washington, D.C. restaurateur Jeff Black on the new venture that offers premium beef, chicken and grilled veggie fajitas for patrons to enjoy at home or on the go.
Situated in a former Subway location, the spot is small with limited seating, so although guests can certainly eat on-site, Fajitas A Go Go’s primary focus is on to-go business. The concept excels using top-notch meats like lightly-seasoned Certified Angus Beef sirloin that’s mesquite grilled, as well as cage-and-hormone-free chicken that’s cooked on a custom rotisserie. As part of the to-go package, guests will enjoy fajita packs loaded with fresh guac, pico, chips and salsa, tortillas, house-made beans and more. Fajitas A Go Go will also deliver beer and house-made margarita mix to customers.
The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
