Husband-wife team Kathryn and John Holler made their craft beer dreams a reality in November 2016 with the opening of Holler Brewing Co. Both armed with experience—he having studied brewing at Chicago’s Siebel Institute of Technology and she with hands-on experience working at Florida’s Two Henrys Brewing Company—Holler brings Houston’s booming beer scene a new face, situated near Silver Street Studios.
The modern headquarters feels more art studio than dingy beer garden. Holler Brewing’s bold logo is emblazoned across the exterior, adding a poppy contrast to the all-white, urban expanse. Inside, fans will find a tap room with a half-dozen beers in rotation, though the facility has 13 more taps installed and ready to go. Head there for cheeky finds like the Dollar Pils Y’all or the Looyah Milk Stout.
Holler Brewing is kid and pet friendly, though furry offspring are relegated to patio-only.
