In 2016 the Houston Chronicle relocated its offices to the former Houston Post building on the Southwest Freeway near the Galleria.

The move followed a multi-million dollar renovation to create a modern media headquarters. The new space is also conducive to hosting events for several dozen up to more than 800.

The Chronicle space includes:

  • The Auditorium and Cafe that can accommodate up to 752 people.
  • The Auditorium alone which can accommodate 438 people.
  • The Cafe which can accommodate 314 people.
  • The Think Tank which can accommodate up to 157 people.

The state-of-the-art spaces include in-house PA systems, multiple plasma screens, wireless projection, wi-fi and more.
