With another location now open in one of Houston’s hottest dining neighborhoods, Hughie’s Tavern & Vietnamese Grill serves fan favorite dishes that keep customers coming back for more.
Banh mi, spring rolls and pho are served alongside southern comfort classics like burgers, chicken tenders and chicken fried steak – an interesting pairing that works surprisingly well.
Speaking of delicious pairings, with dozens of options on tap, craft beer lovers will have no problem finding the perfect brew to compliment Hughie’s addictive fusion comfort food. And if something a little stronger is in the cards, One Armed Scissor, the casual bar next door, offers affordable cocktails and a great place to hang out after dinner.
The original location was a runaway success, and by sticking to the same magic formula, this newest location seems poised to follow in the same footsteps. After all, in a neighborhood that's growing as quickly as the Heights, an affordable, family-friendly Vietnamese restaurant, seasoned with a little Southern flair, should find plenty of interested customers.
Hughie’s is located on 4721 N. Main St. and is open 11 a.m. - 10.p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday.
