Voted Best Persian restaurant in Houston in 2007 by the Houston Press, Kasra Persian Grill has culled a loyal following of diners who appreciate the quality of food and friendly service alike. The dining room features Persian decorations and a relaxed ambiance, and can become quite busy, especially on weekends.
Owner Morty Parsa has created a menu of traditional Persian, or Iranian, dishes which are a mélange of Mediterranean and Mesopotamian elements. Hummus or Taftoon bread and an herb plate will start off your dinner, followed by a variety of beef, poultry, and seafood options. The shishleeks, cherry rice or the barg plate are good ways to delve into this interesting cuisine.
Kasra is open daily for lunch and dinner.
