Line & Lariat, inside Hotel Icon, aims to bring “modern Texas cuisine” to the luxury Downtown property.
Designed to appeal to both hotel guests and those who work Downtown, the bistro uses locally sourced ingredients to create innovative versions of classics. Take for instance the Gulf shrimp and crawfish grits, the crab cakes with field greens and remoulade sauce and the sweet corn cakes with chipotle shrimp and pico. And that’s just the appetizer menu.
The Line & Lariat concept is part of a $5 million renovation effort at the hotel, which is now part of the Marriott Autograph Collection. The ongoing redesign will show off the hotel’s grandeur while bringing a more relaxed vibe to the property.
The restaurant and accompanying L&L Bar are also featuring a daily happy hour that starts at 4 p.m.
