Lucio's is a charming little BYOB secret for those Houston oenophiles in the know. Hailed for its attentive staff and excellent dishes, Lucio's is all about simplicity and having fun.
Set apart from the commercial bustle of Montrose, the Taft Street location is convenient to downtown, River Oaks and other neighborhoods without being overrun. Lucio's is a great place for special occasions when you want to bring a special bottle of wine (or a few) along. The crab cakes are delectable as is the rack of lamb and the seared red grouper. Be sure to save a little room and peruse the dessert menu.
Parking isn't plentiful along Taft so you're probably better off using the valet service.
