Thanks to Luna Pizzeria, a classic slice of pie is now a reality. Located right off Washington Avenue, Luna serves up the “keep it classic” philosophy, which means good ingredients, simple recipes and one type of crust. That’s right, pizza connoisseurs seeking ultra-thin crust need not apply. Luna sticks with a San Francisco style sourdough crust made by local bakery Angela’s Oven.
Pizza eaters have eight choices of pizza, or the option to build your own. There are also just two sizes including individual for $9.50 and large for $16. Four basic salads (Chopped, Caesar, Cobb, and arugula & fennel) and four sandwiches (Italian, meatball, chicken saltimbocca, and porchetta) top off the menu.
Though these additions may come down the road, one thing will continue remain the same. Luna Pizzeria will continue to be a family friendly pizza joint and a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
