Tapas, a Madrid menu and authentic Spanish cocktails and nightlife are just the highlights at MAD Houston in the River Oaks District. With a menu focused on tapas and paellas, MAD will keep the flavors coming to the table all night long.
Start your edible adventure off with steak tartare or carpaccio de cigala and then move on to the brioche con trufas, a port steamed brioche with seasonal truffle aioli and shaved truffle. Straight from the Mediterranean Sea, the salmon ahumado is a smoked salmon with saffron sauce, shaved vegetable salad and toasted bread. For guests looking for a land-based dish, there is a chuleton de buey, which is a 32 oz bone-in rib eye steak with confit piquillo peppers. Guests are encouraged to eat shareable plates to try as much Spanish flavor as possible in one sitting.
Truly committed to giving guests a Madrid experience, the owners made sure all the decor in the restaurant was brought to Houston from Spain. The hot spot is also open late. Restaurant owners Ignacio Torras and Luis Roger, also own BCN.
