It’s been more than a decade since father-son team Tony and Russell Masraff teamed up to launch the family’s contemporary-American concept. The duo’s namesake restaurant, which was originally located on South Post Oak Lane, moved to its renovated Post Oak digs in spring 2010.
Set in the heart of the Galleria area, the light-filled and modern space features floor-to-ceiling windows, etched-metal artwork, a 10-foot-high elevated fireplace and shimmering light fixtures designed by Tony and Russell. Masraff’s front-facing patio is a popular perch with guests, boasting a covered awning and 60-foot-long water feature that helps mask the bustle of the Boulevard. The popular wild-mushroom ravioli and garlic-seared calamari both impress on the variety-filled menu, as do the daily-changing risottos and the caramelized diver scallops. Don’t forget to say hello to the Masraffs, who are often on hand to greet customers.
Masraff’s is open for lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday, and dinner-only Saturday.
