After the success of its locations in Montrose and River Oaks, Pepper Twins now has a third Houston location in Upper Kirby. The newest outpost of this Chinese eatery by Yunan Yang brings the same country-style Chinese food that made its sister restaurants a hit among locals.
With more seating than the other two locations, the Pepper Twins off Kirby and 59 gives locals one more option for when the craving hits for the restaurant’s fresh Chinese cooking. The restaurant stands out for its use of natural, high quality ingredients, including Angus certified beef, Berkshire pork and farm-raised poultry, in its preparations of traditional Chinese dishes. The restaurant is BYOB, so grab a bottle of wine or beer and enjoy with some of the restaurant’s specialty dishes like Soft Square Bacon, Mapo Tofu, Pepper Twins Chicken, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, cold slices of beef tendon tossed with sesame paste, Sichuan peppercorns and chiles.
Pepper Twins is open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and for dinner from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
