Hand-tossed dough, San Marzano tomatoes, Bufala mozzarella, imported Italian olive oil and other authentic ingredients go into every pie at Pizaro’s Pizza. The pizzas are then cooked in wood-fired brick oven built in Naples, Italy for 90 seconds at 900 degrees. Pizaro’s signature Napoletana pizzas are a little piece of Italy in Houston. Even the fresh mozzarella is made fresh in-house daily.
Prior to opening Pizaro's Pizza restaurant, Bill Hutchinson, received his certification as a Pizzaiuolo from the Verace Pizza Napoletana. Bill trained under the watchful eye of world renowned Master Pizza Chef, Peppe Miele. Today, Hutchinson and his family provide authentic pizza at two Houston locations – Memorial Dr. and a new location in Montrose.
