Riondo’s is the latest restaurant to flock to Galveston. The Italian eatery is located on the Strand District in one of the many historical buildings in the area. Classic dishes have been fine tuned here, with Chicken Parmesan, calzones, stromboli and pizzas taking center stage for lunch. Finer fare graces the dinner menu with dishes like grilled filet mignon, gamberi scampi and veal picatta. Chef Rico keeps his menu items local, boasting farm to fork for much of his ingredients.
Though the decor is polished with a notable influence from Italy, the atmosphere takes on the relaxed beach vibes of the island.
