Formerly under the name Santong Snack, the San Dong Noodle House is widely known for its pan-fried dumplings and the traditional Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Both, dumplings and noodles, are hand-made and come in generous portions that should satisfy any cravings. The zha jiang mian which are wheat noodles topped with ground, fried pork is another menu item that should not be overlooked.
Most dishes are in the $5 range and, in true Chinatown fashion, can only be paid for in cash. San Dong has a self-service-style dining room with a clean feel that will not distract you from the appetizing dishes in front of you.
