Clark Cooper Concepts—the brains behind Houston’s Ibiza Food & Wine, Brasserie 19 and Punk’s Simple Southern Food—added another venture to its award-winning portfolio in late 2015. The Dunlavy at Buffalo Bayou Park’s Lost Lake Visitor Center offers casual dining service by day and private events at night, all while delivering eye-catching views of Buffalo Bayou in a stunning space.
The 3,800-square-foot event space, designed by Page, boasts a clean and modern aesthetic marked by floor-to-ceiling windows, gallery-like interiors and a large wraparound patio suspended over the bayou. A collection of shimmering chandeliers hang overhead, adding to the space’s chic aesthetic.
Though the space is prime for weddings and special events, The Kitchen at the Dunlavy caters to casual, daytime service. Park goers and visitors can drop in for counter-service breakfast and lunch, which offers fare influenced by Southern California and includes produce sourced from one of the three property gardens. Find heart healthy items like smoothies, salads and sandwiches on the menu.
The Kitchen at The Dunlavy is open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
