With its homey, backyard kind-of-feel, Tin Roof BBQ and Steaks is a top destination north of loop for the quintessential Texas cuisine—barbecue.
Since opening its doors in 2001, Tin Roof has been serving up traditional favorites, such as sliced brisket and smoked sausage links, out of a 1927 house that owners Ronnie and Nancy Webber had relocated from Memorial Park to its current location in Atascosita.
Walk up to the counter to order off of the large hanging menu above the cashier, then sit inside to stare at the walls adorned with Texas memorabilia or take a seat outside to let the kids run around on the playground. Be sure to try the Wildcat (chopped beef sandwich served with your choice of a steam house side) and the self-titled Tin Roof, a heaping three-meat dinner plate alongside two classic fixin's. Don’t forget to order a side of the perfectly battered oversized onion rings to share with friends and family.
Enjoy live music on the patio every Friday and Saturday night.
Tin Roof also offers catering, take-out and banquet spaces for up to 75 guests.
