The multi-use park makes room for a playground, two volleyball courts and a 1.1-mile jogging trail that encircles the 23-acre stocked lake. Visitors can bring their fishing license and spend the afternoon atop the park's fishing pier, catching large mouth bass, catfish and rainbow trout. There are also restroom facilities conveniently located at each of the three barbeque pavilions, one just steps from the nature trail.
Tom Bass Regional Park, Section III is senior friendly, with a Community Center that boasts an exercise facility and activities for seniors. The Horticulture Department, for example, hosts Senior Gardening Program classes on the first and third Thursday of the month, educating attendees on best gardening practices.
