Visit a local brewery
There’s no shortage of options when it comes to craft breweries in Houston. If Dad is a beer lover, treat him to an outing at one of Houston’s breweries. Some options include Saint Arnold’s, Karbach, Spindletap, Eureka Heights, and 8th Wonder. At B-52 Brewing in Conroe, Dad can enjoy a good beer while you pick up a gift at the brewery’s Father’s Day Market on Saturday, June 19. City Acre Brewing celebrates dad with barbecue and brews on Sunday, June 20. Dad will love the brewery’s barbecue split – scoops of potato salad, coleslaw and pulled pork served on slices of bread. Buy tickets here.

Brunch at a distillery
If spirits are more his thing, invite Dad to 8th Wonder Distillery’s Father’s Day Steak Brunch on June 20. Located right across from 8th Wonder Brewery, this local distillery makes vodka, hop-infused gin, rum and a hand-selected whiskey. Chef Mike Grisby will be on site preparing tasty cajun, creole cuisine. Brunch will be served from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., but the distillery is open until 10 p.m.
