Where to Dine
Backstreet Cafe is a go-to spot for celebrations of all kinds, especially Father’s Day. This fun and family-friendly atmosphere is offering a special three-course menu from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The prix fixe menu is $49 per adult and $15 per child. Pick from amazing options like the grilled Texas peach salad, crawfish beignets, pan-seared sea bass, brisket hash, the Backstreet benedict and of course, desserts like chocolate truffle cake or blueberry peach lemon cake. Head to New Orleans without leaving Houston by brunching at Brennan’s. The menu is mouthwatering, and the price is fixed at $62 per person. Brennan's is known for its snapping turtle soup. George Ranch Historical Park has a fun day planned for the history enthusiast. There will be three Pioneer Gun Classes offered the Saturday before Father’s Day. The classes take place at the 1830s Stock Farm where dad will learn how to load and shoot replica flintlocks and percussion rifles. Some replicas date back to the Alamo.
