Houston Theater Week, presented by Huntington Bank, returns with Buy One, Get One Free deals August 24-30, 2026, and this year there is plenty to celebrate. Since 2022, more than 118,000 tickets have been sold during Theater Week, raising nearly $5 million for local performing arts groups.
The $5 million milestone is a testament to the powerful impact of the partnership between Houston First Corporation (HFC) and local professional performing arts groups. As these cultural organizations continue to make their best shows available to consumers during Theater Week, HFC remains committed to supporting the annual initiative through its marketing and public relations efforts.

“What started as an effort to get people back into venues for live performances after the pandemic has grown into a valuable annual sales boost for our local performing arts groups,” said Michael Heckman, President and CEO of Houston First. “Houston First continues to invest in this annual collaboration because it works—the public, the performing arts community, and our city all win.”
Audiences can choose ticket deals from nearly 400 live shows across 21 participating organizations. Houston Theater Week is the only program of its kind in the country that includes theater, music and dance performances as part of its extensive lineup of BOGO offers.

Theater Venues
Lynn Wyatt Square
Houston’s Theater District in Downtown comprises 17 blocks of theater venues featuring major performing arts, including ballet, opera, symphony, and more! Another great feature of the Theater District is its underground parking. It is easily accessible to theater venues through a series of tunnels, making it convenient to get to the show on time! Visit the Lynn Wyatt Square for the Performing Arts (LWS), at the epicenter of Houston’s Theater District. It is a new cultural gateway for Houstonians and visitors to experience the beauty and power of the nationally and internationally recognized performing arts surrounding it. Houston Grand Opera, Houston Ballet, Houston Symphony, Alley Theatre, Theater Under the Stars, Performing Arts Houston, DACAMERA and Mercury Chamber Orchestra are residents of Theater District buildings. The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts is also nearby.

Make it a perfect date night idea by purchasing your tickets during Houston Theater Week and planning a dinner and a show! Houston Theater District’s walkable area lends itself for a great way to dine at some of Houston’ best restaurants and walk over to a show afterwards. Choose from many dining options available like Hearsay, La Fisheria and Lyric Market to experience an unforgettable date night!
Brennan’s Shuttle for Dinner & a Show
Brennan’s of Houston offers a pick-up and return shuttle service to the restaurant on its B-Line Theater Shuttle. Stops include The Hobby Center, Alley Theatre, Jones Hall, and Wortham Theatre Center. The B-Line Shuttle runs Tuesday through Sunday. Dining reservations are required in advance. Call 713-522-9711 to make a B-Line reservation, noting the theater destination and show time. A $5 per person charge will be added to the bill for the shuttle service.
